Trying to get the most nutritional bang for your buck out of each food you eat? “Superfoods” are foods that are far more plentiful in nutrients than they are in calories and that research has shown deliver health benefits. You’re probably already eating a lot of everyday superfoods–like bananas, eggs and broccoli–and maybe even some exotic ones (acai, anyone?).

But what about the power-packed foods filled with good-for-you vitamins, minerals and disease-fighting phytochemicals you aren’t eating? Rather than rattling off a laundry list of every fiber-rich, antioxidant-packed, vitamin-saturated food, EatingWell’s food and nutrition experts focused on this list of the 7 healthiest foods you can add to your diet that you’ve likely missed the boat on eating, especially on a regular basis.

1. Kale
On top of delivering a raft of cancer-fighting antioxidants, kale is one of the vegetable world’s top sources of vitamin A, which promotes eye and skin health and may help strengthen the immune system. It’s a good source of heart-healthy fiber and a 1-cup serving has almost as much vitamin C as an orange. What’s not to love?

2. Sardines
Sardines are one of the best sources of heart-healthy, mood-boosting omega-3 fats, and they’re packed with vitamin D. And because sardines are small and low on the food chain, they don’t harbor lots of toxins as bigger fish can.

3. Quinoa
Quinoa is a delicately flavored whole grain packed with fiber and protein and, to top it off, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to cook. That combination of fiber and protein has an extra value too: research shows that the two together can help you feel full for longer.

4. Oatmeal
Oatmeal has 4 grams of fiber per cup and research suggests that increasing your intake of soluble fiber (a type found in oatmeal) by 5 to 10 grams each day could result in a 5 percent drop in “bad” LDL cholesterol. Also, according to a study in the Journal of Nutrition, eating a breakfast made with “slow-release” carbohydrates, such as oatmeal, three hours before you exercise may help you burn more fat. Here’s why: in the study, eating “slow-release” carbohydrates didn’t spike blood sugar as high as eating refined carbohydrates, such as white toast. In turn, insulin levels didn’t spike as high, and because insulin plays a role in signaling your body to store fat, having lower levels may help you burn fat.

5. Pomegranate
This vibrant fruit is chock-full of antioxidants, natural chemicals found in plants that mop up harmful free radicals, which damage tissues and may contribute to a variety of chronic conditions, such as heart disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer. Don’t have time to prepare the fruit? You can get many of the same benefits from drinking a glass of pomegranate juice! Don’t pass up an opportunity to enjoy the fruit itself, however–the tart, jelly-like taste is unique and wonderful. A 1-cup serving of juice has 150 calories and 1/2 cup of pomegranate seeds has only 72 calories and 4 grams of fiber!

6. Kefir
Think yogurt in a glass. This drinkable fermented dairy beverage is packed with beneficial probiotics that may help give your immune system a little extra edge, plus 29 percent of your daily value of calcium per 8-ounce serving. Look for it in your supermarket’s dairy section; choose plain for less sugar and fewer calories or fresh fruit flavors, such as peach and raspberry, for extra taste.

7. Lentils
Lentils are a versatile, budget-friendly and healthy addition to many dinner recipes. A half-cup of cooked lentils contains over 9 grams of protein and a jaw-dropping 8 grams of dietary fiber. Lentils are also a good source of iron and an excellent source of folate.

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

“The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problem.”

“If I had no sense of humor, I would long ago have committed suicide.”

Inspiring the world through his messages of peace and harmony here are the top 10 fundamentals from Mahatma Gandhi.

1. Change yourself.
“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”

“As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.”

If you change yourself you will change your world. If you change how you think then you will change how you feel and what actions you take. And so the world around you will change. Not only because you are now viewing your environment through new lenses of thoughts and emotions but also because the change within can allow you to take action in ways you wouldn’t have – or maybe even have thought about – while stuck in your old thought patterns.

And the problem with changing your outer world without changing yourself is that you will still be you when you reach that change you have strived for. You will still have your flaws, anger, negativity, self-sabotaging tendencies etc. intact.

And so in this new situation you will still not find what you hoped for since your mind is still seeping with that negative stuff. And if you get more without having some insight into and distance from your ego it may grow more powerful. Since your ego loves to divide things, to find enemies and to create separation it may start to try to create even more problems and conflicts in your life and world.

2. You are in control.
“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”

What you feel and how you react to something is always up to you. There may be a “normal” or a common way to react to different things. But that’s mostly just all it is.

You can choose your own thoughts, reactions and emotions to pretty much everything. You don’t have to freak out, overreact of even react in a negative way. Perhaps not every time or instantly. Sometimes a knee-jerk reaction just goes off. Or an old thought habit kicks in.

And as you realize that no-one outside of yourself can actually control how you feel you can start to incorporate this thinking into your daily life and develop it as a thought habit. A habit that you can grow stronger and stronger over time. Doing this makes life a whole lot easier and more pleasurable.

3. Forgive and let it go.
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”

“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”

Fighting evil with evil won’t help anyone. And as said in the previous tip, you always choose how to react to something. When you can incorporate such a thought habit more and more into your life then you can react in a way that is more useful to you and others.

You realize that forgiving and letting go of the past will do you and the people in your world a great service. And spending your time in some negative memory won’t help you after you have learned the lessons you can learn from that experience. You’ll probably just cause yourself more suffering and paralyze yourself from taking action in this present moment.

If you don’t forgive then you let the past and another person to control how you feel. By forgiving you release yourself from those bonds. And then you can focus totally on, for instance, the next point.

4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.
“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”

Without taking action very little will be done. However, taking action can be hard and difficult. There can be much inner resistance.

And so you may resort to preaching, as Gandhi says. Or reading and studying endlessly. And feeling like you are moving forward. But getting little or no practical results in real life.

So, to really get where you want to go and to really understand yourself and your world you need to practice. Books can mostly just bring you knowledge. You have to take action and translate that knowledge into results and understanding.

You can check out a few effective tips to overcome this problem in How to Take More Action: 9 Powerful Tips. Or you can move on to the next point for more on the best tip for taking more action that I have found so far.

5. Take care of this moment.
“I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following.”

The best way that I have found to overcome the inner resistance that often stops us from taking action is to stay in the present as much as possible and to be accepting.

Why? Well, when you are in the present moment you don’t worry about the next moment that you can’t control anyway. And the resistance to action that comes from you imagining negative future consequences – or reflecting on past failures – of your actions loses its power. And so it becomes easier to both take action and to keep your focus on this moment and perform better.

Have a look at 8 Ways to Return to the Present Moment for tips on how quickly step into the now. And remember that reconnecting with and staying in the now is a mental habit – a sort of muscle – that you grow. Over time it becomes more powerful and makes it easier to slip into the present moment.

6. Everyone is human.
“I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.”

“It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”

When you start to make myths out of people – even though they may have produced extraordinary results – you run the risk of becoming disconnected from them. You can start to feel like you could never achieve similar things that they did because they are so very different. So it’s important to keep in mind that everyone is just a human being no matter who they are.

And I think it’s important to remember that we are all human and prone to make mistakes. Holding people to unreasonable standards will only create more unnecessary conflicts in your world and negativity within you.

It’s also important to remember this to avoid falling into the pretty useless habit of beating yourself up over mistakes that you have made. And instead be able to see with clarity where you went wrong and what you can learn from your mistake. And then try again.

7. Persist.
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

Be persistent. In time the opposition around you will fade and fall away. And your inner resistance and self-sabotaging tendencies that want to hold you back and keep you like you have always been will grow weaker.

Find what you really like to do. Then you’ll find the inner motivation to keep going, going and going. You can also find a lot of useful tips on how keep your motivation up in How to Get Out of a Motivational Slump and 25 Simple Ways to Motivate Yourself.

One reason Gandhi was so successful with his method of non-violence was because he and his followers were so persistent. They just didn’t give up.

Success or victory will seldom come as quickly as you would have liked it to. I think one of the reasons people don’t get what they want is simply because they give up too soon. The time they think an achievement will require isn’t the same amount of time it usually takes to achieve that goal. This faulty belief partly comes from the world we live in. A world full of magic pill solutions where advertising continually promises us that we can lose a lot of weight or earn a ton of money in just 30 days. You can read more about this in One Big Mistake a Whole Lot of People Make.

Finally, one useful tip to keep your persistence going is to listen to Gandhi’s third quote in this article and keep a sense of humor. It can lighten things up at the toughest of times.

8. See the good in people and help them.
“I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others.”

“Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow-men.”

“I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.”

There is pretty much always something good in people. And things that may not be so good. But you can choose what things to focus on. And if you want improvement then focusing on the good in people is a useful choice. It also makes life easier for you as your world and relationships become more pleasant and positive.

And when you see the good in people it becomes easier to motivate yourself to be of service to them. By being of service to other people, by giving them value you not only make their lives better. Over time you tend to get what you give. And the people you help may feel more inclined to help other people. And so you, together, create an upward spiral of positive change that grows and becomes stronger.

By strengthening your social skills you can become a more influential person and make this upward spiral even stronger. A few articles that may provide you with useful advice in that department are Do You Make These 10 Mistakes in a Conversation? and Dale Carnegie’s Top 10 Tips for Improving Your Social Skills. Or you can just move on to the next tip.

9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”

I think that one of the best tips for improving your social skills is to behave in a congruent manner and communicate in an authentic way. People seem to really like authentic communication. And there is much inner enjoyment to be found when your thoughts, words and actions are aligned. You feel powerful and good about yourself.

When words and thoughts are aligned then that shows through in your communication. Because now you have your voice tonality and body language – some say they are over 90 percent of communication – in alignment with your words.

With these channels in alignment people tend to really listen to what you’re saying. You are communicating without incongruency, mixed messages or perhaps a sort of phoniness.

Also, if your actions aren’t in alignment with what you’re communicating then you start to hurt your own belief in what you can do. And other people’s belief in you too.

10. Continue to grow and evolve.
”Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.”

You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits or re-evaluate your evaluations. You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and the world.

Sure, you may look inconsistent or like you don’t know what you are doing from time to time. You may have trouble to act congruently or to communicate authentically. But if you don’t then you will, as Gandhi says, drive yourself into a false position. A place where you try to uphold or cling to your old views to appear consistent while you realize within that something is wrong. It’s not a fun place to be. To choose to grow and evolve is a happier and more useful path to take.

Saying the wrong thing to your boss can do serious damage to your career – and some of the things bosses don’t like to hear may surprise you. This is a list of phrases you should strongly avoid – and here is what you should say instead:

1. “I need a raise.”
Never enter salary negotiations talking about what you need — because of rising costs or a new expense, for instance. Your employer doesn’t care about your financial problems. However, management probably does want to reward success and keep high-performing employees satisfied. A raise request should always be supported by evidence of what you’ve achieved for the company — along with information about what people with your responsibilities typically earn.

2. “That just isn’t possible.”
Always speak to your boss in terms of what can be done. For instance, rather than saying “We can’t get this done by Friday,” say “We could definitely get this done by Monday, or if we brought in some freelance help, we could meet the Friday deadline.” When you talk to your boss, think in terms of solving problems for her, not in terms of putting problems on her plate.

3. “I can’t stand working with ____.”
Complaining about a coworker’s personality usually reflects more poorly on you than on the coworker. Don’t make these kinds of conflicts your boss’s problem. Of course, management is interested in problems that jeopardize the company’s ability to function. If you have to speak to HR about a problem such as a colleague’s threatening, illegal or unethical behavior, keep your tone professional and the focus on work — not personal issues.

4. “I partied too hard last night — I’m so hung over!”
Buck up and get through the day with some ibuprofen, extra undereye concealer and coffee. But don’t share the sordid details of your night on the town with your boss. Even if you have a friendly relationship, he’s just as likely to react with (unspoken) disdain as sympathy. Maintaining a solid veneer of professionalism will pay off when it’s time to discuss promotions.

5. “But I emailed you about that last week.”
Alerting your boss to a problem via email doesn’t absolve you of all responsibility for it. Bosses hate the “out of my outbox, out of my mind” attitude. Keep tabs on all critical issues you know about — and keep checking in until you hear a firm “You don’t need to worry about that anymore.”

6. “It’s not my fault.”
Are you a whiny 8-year-old or a take-charge professional? Assume responsibility and take steps to fix a problem that you did, in fact, create. And if you are being wrongly blamed for a problem, saying “Let’s get to the bottom of this” or “What can we do to make it right?” is much more effective than saying “It’s not my fault.”

7. “I don’t know.”
If your boss asks you a question you can’t answer, the correct response is not “I don’t know.” It’s “I’ll find out right away.”

8. “But we’ve always done it this way.”
You may find yourself with a new boss who wants to try new things — and the best way to present yourself as a workplace relic is to meet change with a “we do it this way because this is the way we do it” attitude. When a brainstorming session takes place, be part of it and stay open to new ideas. If you have concerns about a new idea’s feasibility, say “I think for this to work, we will have to…” Don’t kill new ideas with negativity.

Since he is an open person by nature, he was happy to sit down and do a Q&A session and share his experiences and tell us what it really takes to become successful online and how to make extra income from affiliate marketing.

First of all, congratulations! Now onto my questions:

1. What did you do for living before getting into the internet business?
I did programming & web design and i learned that these mesh extremely well with online marketing.

2. How did you do your first year?
My first year it only supplemented my income as I had a full time job. I made around $40k

3. Can you please give a brief real world example of how you do what you do?
I search for products to promote using tools like OfferVault (www.offervault.com) depending on current trends. I find the best payout, research the product, build a landing page to “pre-sell” it before they actually see the product website and advertise it using Facebook and/or Google. I generally use Facebook for promotional offers, dating, insurance, lead gen and then Google for everything else

4. How does this work? What kind of sites/blogs do you create? How does programming fit into this?
I’m basically an online salesman. I earn commission for selling products or sending targeted leads to clients. The best part is I never have to deal with or talk to a customer and I can flash my products in front of literally thousands of potential customers a day. Most of the time I create “landers,” a fancy name for a sales page. Server side programming like PHP isn’t as important as client side stuff like HTML/javascript and a nice design. On the page I talk about or review the product(s) and link the user to the actual sales page with the client. All clicks and sales/leads are tracked by a middle man called an “affiliate network” who has a direct relationship with the client. Think of affiliate networks as a store who gets their inventory from wholesalers and then sells it to the public. An affiliate network gets advertising campaigns from merchants at a certain amount per sale/lead and distributes them to the affiliates (people like me) to market at a lower payout so they can create a margin.

5. How can I make a landing page if my web development skills are very limited?
You need to learn more about making a website. You can always start by creating a blogger account or installing wordpress and create landing pages through blogs.

6. How does design help sell a product? Does color/font/whatever have much of an impact on what people buy?
Yeah, all that goes into affecting the decision of the end-user. I try to be as clean and simple as possible. I’ve found that landers that are more personalized or information based do well than commercialized. People who are looking to buy something online almost always look around for reviews. My strategy is to feed them the review, information, etc BEFORE they see the product site.

7. Would you recommend this path to others that have similar skills to your own? What advice and warnings would you give?
Anybody can do this. You don’t need any special skills. Programming and web design just allowed me to be able to earn faster than probably the average affiliate marketer. The best advice I could give is to:

a) Don’t be afraid to take risks.

b) It takes money to make money (at least if you want to earn real money)

c) Attend any of the major affiliate conferences like Ad:Tech or Affiliate Summit and you can learn a lot from keynotes in just a few days.

d) Test, discover, repeat.

8. What were your 3 most successful products last year?
Weight-loss, stretchmarks, and biz-opp (specifically Google biz-opp) products.

9. Can you name 3 things a beginner in the business should avoid doing – sort of classic mistakes?
1) Avoid new networks, only go with the known/proven networks.
2) Don’t get advice from affiliate marketing forums.
3) Don’t give up when you lose money. You will lose money, it’s part of the process.

10. If you were to start today, what would you do, how much time would you spend and how much would you make?
I got my start by building websites revolved around certain niches. I didn’t sell products… instead I wrote articles and manually created back links to the sites by trading links with other sites in the same niche and by submitting my links to social media sites. I monetized the sites with Google Adsense and banner ads. This is tedious because it can take a long time to make money as you’re solely depending on organic search engine rankings and back links. It’s a lot easier to do now though with programs like http://onlywire.com. When I started I had a full time job and I still dedicated 10-20 hours a week writing articles, creating back links, and optimizing my pages for the search engines.

However, if you were to start in this business today I would highly recommend skipping all that and getting right into marketing products through PPC with Google Adwords. It’s probably the easiest way to make money online and you can make a lot if you only knew the basics.

11. Has it gotten more difficult over the years?
It actually gets easier. Probably like mostly anything in life, the more you do something, the better you are at it and the easier it is to do. I still work a lot though… 50-60 hours a week. I could work a lot less if I wanted but it’s too fun.

12. 50-60 hours per week sounds OK. What do you do on a typical day?
As far as work goes I spend a lot of time reading affiliate news and following trends. I spend most of my time optimizing ads.

13. Speaking of optimizing ads… How many times have you been banned from Google AdWords?
They crack down the shady stuff which I no longer participate in. Google cracks down on account holders who are involved with all the shady rebill offers. Lots of marketers would simply create new accounts that they would use to make money for a few weeks at a time until those got shut down.

14. How much do you pay per click on adwords? Highest? Lowest?
I aim for the lowest I can get, but I’m currently bidding up to $3.00/click on one of my campaigns up right now.

15. How do you leverage Facebook?
On Facebook, I generally start by creating several ads targeting various demographics, different ad texts, different pictures and then letting them accumulate clicks. The ones that don’t convert or have a shitty click through rate, I delete. I keep filtering based on conversion rates and profits. Once I find the ads that work, I make more to target other demographics, etc. I keep doing this until I feel I have exhausted the targeting. You can use this method with Adwords too.. except with Adwords you’re targeting based on keywords.

16. How many domains do you own?
70-80

17. When you create a new campaign, how many variations of your ad copy and sales page will you split test at once? Do you split test both at once or one at a time?
The most I’ve ever split tested on Facebook would be 80. I spend days filtering though. Sometimes I will create tons of ads and find that none of them worked causing me to lose money. I don’t give up on it though, I’m at it again the next day.

18. Any websites/forums/blogs to get started? Can you mention any of the affiliate programs you’re using, or any you’d recommend for someone starting out?
Check out www.affbuzz.com and read/follow the bloggers in this industry. I don’t recommend getting advice from forums but some of the ones to check out would be www.digitalpoint.com, www.warriorforum.com, www.wickedfire.com but be careful there.

19. Do you have an offline network of colleagues you meet up with and talk about the business, trends..?
I know a lot of people in this business but the only times I see them face-to-face is at affiliate conferences. I usually attend 2 or 3 of them a year.

20. Isn’t it possible for someone who is working for the same affiliation site as you and selling the same product, to just google the product, find your website, and rip it?
That’s a big problem in this business, affiliates ripping other affiliates hard work… However, it’s part of the game. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. In fact, I live by multiple eggs, multiple baskets. I’ve contacted the web hosts on some of the people who have ripped my pages and successfully shut one down.

21. Ever had a network reneg on payment due to a client going defunct/bankrupt?
I’ve had problems with getting paid in the past. After that happened I made sure to stay with the proven networks. I will, however, from time to time join new networks if I find it to be the most direct connection with a client.

22. Do you do all your deals through networks or do you have some deals directly with companies?
I have recently started going over and above the networks directly to the client. You’d be surprised at how much money some of these networks are taking.

23. Why do you make so much when most people lose money trying to make money on the internet?
I’ve lost thousands and thousands of dollars online doing this. Most of the money that I lose is by testing and filtering my methods against different products. I may spend a couple thousand testing a product’s marketability until I can find that sweet spot in targeting. Once I’ve found the perfect target and I start seeing profits, it’s not uncommon to profit $2-$4k a day just from one campaign.

24. Do you pay taxes?
Yes.

Well there you go. I hope you learned something today. Thank you for your time and good luck.

Far too many people think that they simply can’t save for retirement. They face living paycheck to paycheck and feel like they can’t get off of that rut. But, you can. You should and need to be inspired. You can get inspired to save and invest. Starting is often the hardest part. Below are ten great ways to inspire yourself to start saving and investing, and if you are already saving and investing, hopefully these tips will inspire you to keep going and boost your financial well-being.

Meet Someone Famous – My personal example is that I met Gary Vaynerchuk at a book signing back when he was promoting his book, “Crush It”. It was incredibly inspiring to meet him, listen to him talk, and get to ask him a few questions. I was on cloud nine for weeks and weeks, full of aspirations and inspired like never before.

Read Books – A recent study found that a majority of millionaires read at least one non-fiction book ever month. If you are a salesman who depends on commissions to make a living, how many books on selling or closing a deal have you read? Finding a great book may be a great way to inspire you. If you are looking for great personal finance books, check out my list of the top ten personal finance books that should be on everyone’s nightstand.

Pay Off A Debt – There are very few things that can inspire someone who is struggling with his finances more than paying off a debt. You can build on your success and turn it into a debt snowball.

Find Someone To Talk To – Do you have a coworker who loves to talk about finances? If you are looking for inspiration to figure out how to finally start investing, maybe you should consider asking that coworker to share some of his or her knowledge with you. Do they have a recommendation for a mutual fund or a discount brokerage.

Read Blogs – One of the biggest reasons bloggers write is to inspire people. How many blogs are you reading? There are some great blogs out there that inspire you to do more, strive for greater things, etc. What are some of your favorites?

Set Goals – Everyone needs goals in their lives, both short-term and long-term ones. You also need goals for your savings and investing. Do you have them? You should set them now that it is a new year.

Plaster Your Goals – Once you have your goals, you should post them all over the place, at your home and at work. I am a big fan of putting my number one goal up on the mirror in my bathroom because I look there first thing every morning. It serves as a great reminder and motivator.

Reward Yourself – Hopefully your goals have smaller sub-steps involved to help you reach your big, ultimate goal in the end. Don’t forget to reward yourself when you reach those smaller goals on your way to the main goal. This will inspire you to keep going and achieve the tough ones.

Teach Friends – Teachers are always one of the first people to point out that if you want to truly know and understand a topic, then you need to teach it to someone. Having to pass on knowledge to someone who is depending on you to be a subject matter expert will quickly make you realize that you need to become that subject matter expert.

Write About It – Are you struggling with your finances? Maybe others around you are struggling to? Have you ever considered starting a blog? Have you ever thought about writing a letter to the editor of your local newspaper? Getting your thoughts down on paper is quite inspiring.

How do you get inspired? Do the same things that inspire you to succeed financially also inspire you to reach your non-financial goals?

Different eras of mobile communication are categorized into generations such as 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G, where each generation has a number of technologies such as LTE. ITU (International Telecommunication Union) considers LTE-Advanced as the true 4G standard, while it also accepts LTE as a 4G standard.

4G
ITU considers IMT-Advanced (International Mobile Telecommunication) technologies as true 4G standards. As per the official definition, IMT-Advanced should be able to deliver peak download speeds of 1Gbps in stationary environments, while 100Mbps in high mobile environments. Initially, ITU completed the assessment of 6 candidate’s wireless mobile broadband standards for official 4G standard. Finally, 2 technologies, LTE Advanced and WirelessMAN-Advanced are accorded the official designation of IMT-Advanced. Even though, LTE Advanced is considered as true 4G standard, ITU also allowed to use HSPA+,WiMax and LTE as 4th generation technologies. As per the IMT-Advanced specification peak spectral efficiency should be 15bps/Hz for downlink and 6.75bps/Hz for uplink. This spectral efficiency and other IMT-Advanced requirements are achieved by 3GPP Release 10 (LTE-Advanced).

LTE
LTE was initiated with the 3GPP Release 8 (Freeze in March 2008), and further evolved in 9 and 10 releases. High spectral efficiency is one of the key features of LTE which was achieved using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) with 64-QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) technique. Use of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antenna techniques is another key point which improved the spectral efficiency of LTE to 15bps/Hz. LTE should be able to support up to 300Mbps downlink and 75Mbps in uplink as per the 3GPP specification. Architecture of LTE is much simpler and flat when compared with the previous 3GPP releases. eNode-B directly connects with System Architecture Evolution Gateway (SAE-GW) for data transfer, while it connects with Mobile Management Entity (MME) for signaling as per the LTE architecture. This simple eUTRAN architecture allows better utilization of resources, which ultimately ends up with OPEX and CAPEX savings to the service provider.

What is the difference between 4G and LTE?

1. LTE Advanced, which is also known as true 4G standard, is evolution of LTE standard. Therefore, LTE and LTE Advanced have compatibility, where LTE terminal can work in LTE Advanced network, and LTE Advanced Terminal can work in LTE network.

2. Capacities of true 4G standards are much higher when compared with LTE. LTE supports up to a maximum of 2.7 bps/Hz/cell, while LTE Advanced (True 4G) has a capacity of 3.7 bps/Hz/cell. Even though, both LTE and LTE-Advanced (true 4G) support the same spectral efficiency in downlink, uplink spectral efficiency is much higher with true 4G.

3. Both LTE and 4G are focused on data rate improvement. Peak downlink data rate of LTE is 300Mbps, while official 4G definition requires 1Gbps downlink data rate. Therefore, true 4G has much higher data rate when compared with LTE, in both uplink as well as in downlink.

4. LTE is known as 3GPP release 8, while true 4G is considered as 3GPP release 10, which is evolution of initial LTE technology.

5. LTE networks are being deployed around the world now, while true 4G networks are still pending for trials. This is simply due to the stability of LTE when compared with LTE-Advanced. Initial LTE standards are published in March 2008, whereas initial stages of LTE-Advanced (True 4G) were standardized in March 2010.

6. 4G is the next generation of mobile broadband communication, whereas LTE is the basis for true 4G technologies such as LTE-Advanced.

Although it can occur naturally as one grows old, it can still be a source of humiliation for the male population. This, along with a couple of other reasons, brought the hype revolving the use of medication to deal with this condition. Viagra was first introduced to the world in 1998 by Pfizer. In 2003, Viagra’s greatest competition was approved by the FDA under the name Cialis. To help individuals who are considering the use of these drugs, it is best to identify the difference between Cialis and Viagra first and foremost. More popularly known and referred to as the little blue pill, Viagra is also sold under the name Revatio. Aside from working on an erectile dysfunction, it can also help with a condition called pulmonary arterial hypertension. The drug works by inhibiting the enzyme that is responsible for regulating the blood flow in the penis. Tadalafil is the name of the inhibitor contained in the pill known all over the world as Cialis. It is used to deal with erectile dysfunction in men but is also marketed as Adcirca for the cure of pulmonary arterial hypertension. It was initially developed by ICOS but was redeveloped and marketed by Lilly ICOS, LLC after Eli Lilly and Company bought ICOS. Its action is the same as that of Viagra as it also inhibits PDE5, the enzyme that regulates blood flow in the male’s sex organ. Although both drugs work the same way in treating erectile dysfunction, there are differences in their effectiveness and other features. Viagra starts to work an hour after it is taken and is effective for at least four hours. Cialis, on the other hand, is effective for up to 36 hours (it has a 17.5-hour half life) and takes effect in 30 minutes after being taken. Their side effects are more or less the same. These include headache, upset stomach and blurred vision. Those who take Viagra have reported cases of color vision changes as well as an increased sensitivity to light while some Cialis users experience muscle aches and back pain. Both pills are sold for the same price.

Difference between Viagra and Cialis

1. The chemicals used in both the pills are different
2. Viagra starts to work in one hour’s time of taking the pill; Cialis becomes effective after 30min of taking the pill
3. Cialis is effective up to 36 hours (17.5-hour half life); effectiveness of Viagra is up to 4 hours 3. Viagra causes colour vision change, especially between green and blue and increased sensitivity to light
4. Cialis causes in some people muscle aches and back pain
5. Cost and the way they work are same.

Summary: Considering the difference between Cialis and Viagra, it is now up to the individual to make decision on which pill to take when having an erectile dysfunction. Despite their differences in certain aspects such as the length of time the pill is useful, both Viagra, the little blue pill, and Cialis, the weekender, have been proven to be effective when it comes to the dysfunction men are having problems with especially as they age. At the present, Viagra still remains on top of the list as many continue to patronize it and claim that it works better and is stronger. However, Cialis is putting up a serious fight and is starting to win in some countries such as France. Source: differencebetween.com | By Andrew

Even if they are, the minute you go shopping at the local grocery store or ride public transit, you are exposed to bacteria that can get you sick if your immune system is unable to provide adequate defense.

In addition to receiving your flu shot, there are simple ways you can incorporate flu prevention efforts into your daily regime. Read on to learn how!

Sleep. Aim to sleep for at least eight hours per night so that your body is well rested and can fight off unwanted viruses or bacteria.

Replenish with water regularly. It is recommended that we drink eight, eight ounce glasses of water per day for optimal health. Hydrating mucous membranes will help keep them fit to fight disease.

Eat immune-boosting foods and avoid sugar. Colourful fruits and vegetables contain a lot of nutrients that help boost the immune system. On the other hand, sugar can significantly hinder immunity, putting you at risk of catching the flu.

Get active. Regular exercise boosts immunity.

Reduce stress levels. It is widely known that stress can run your body down, putting you at risk for flu and other diseases. Reducing stress through sufficient sleep, regular exercise and other methods can help bring greater enjoyment to life while reducing your risk of catching the flu.

Wash your hands! Your health is in your hands so this flu season be sure to sanitize or wash your hands regularly, especially before eating or touching your face.

Many of the easiest ways to do so may not even require that much sacrifice. For the intrepid, extra cash may mean the ability to snatch up stocks at bargain prices. Far more people are still shoring up their personal balance sheets from the last downturn, and another market tumble reinforces the need for an emergency fund, or to pay down debt. Even for spenders, there’s an incentive to sock away a little more: The down market is expected lead to sales on many big-ticket items like cars, airfare and electronics. “It’s smart to save wherever you can,” says certified financial planner Sheryl Garrett, founder of the Garrett Planning Network, a national group of fee-only advisors.

Of course, financial experts rarely advocate against saving. But market swoons to tend to bring out consumers’ thrifty sides. For some help with boosting your monthly savings, here are three options that won’t take more than an hour or two:

Switch Cellphone Plans
Save: $400 a year

Cellphone users are paying more — $92 per month on average for a two-year contract, up from $78 last year, according to J.D. Power & Associates. And picking the right plan has also become more complex as carriers add new data plans and require different packages for different phones. In early July, Verizon joined AT&T in eliminating unlimited data plans for new subscribers. Moving into a plan that better fits your calling texting and data patterns could save up to $400, Satyavolu says. Sites like BillShrink and Validas will analyze your current bill and make savings suggestions, or you can call your provider and competing services. (Some apps can also help you save on texting or talk time.) But if the best bet seems to be switching carriers, be warned: early termination fees can go as high as $350, which could eat up any savings in a hurry. Switching can also change call quality, so ask friends who use that carrier if they’ve had problems — or better yet, borrow their phone and test for yourself.

Shop Insurance Policies
Save: $200 a year

More severe natural disasters and higher rebuilding costs have led insurers to raise homeowners insurance premiums by more than 7% in many areas over the past year. (Some are hurricane-prone areas, but not all. Some Pennsylvania homeowners saw premiums jump 33% last year.) That’s reason enough to shop around on sites like Netquote.com and Insurance.com, checking rates and available discounts. Be sure to call your current insurer, too, and see if they have any new programs you might be eligible for, Garrett says. It wouldn’t be hard to save at least $200 per year or more. Last month, Garrett bought new homeowners and auto insurance policies, cutting her yearly bill by $800.

Change (or Ditch) Cable
Save: $800 a year

Consumers can save substantially by finding a new cable provider, or depending on their viewing habits, cutting the cord altogether. Switching is easier to compare with sites like BillShrink or WhiteFence.com. And most viewers have more options than they think, especially for those who are interested in satellite — and the annual savings for switching averages $800 a year, Satyavolu says. Providers often make their best deals available via cable-phone-Internet bundles, though, and switching to a lower price can entail an unbearably slow Internet or a crackly phone connection, says Dan Rayburn, an analyst for investment bank Frost & Sullivan who covers digital media companies. Also, the growing options for free or cheap TV online mean some people may be able to get by with fewer channels, says Rayburn. A viewer might, for example, switch to a basic cable package with 13 or so channels and use an $8 monthly streaming subscription from Netflix or Hulu to catch more missed movies and TV shows.
